Join us to celebrate Christmas, Scandinavian style! Once again, the Swedish Church, 21 St Georges Road, Toorak, will hold its traditional and very popular Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar on the first weekend in December.
- - Wander stalls full of gorgeous items imported direct from Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
- - See what Scandinavia is famous for - design, textiles, handicrafts, glassware and more!
- - Pick up unique gifts and stunning Christmas decorations.
- - Savour a delicious variety of Scandinavian foods, while being entertained by singers and musicians.
- - Enjoy the festive atmosphere with friends and family in the beautiful gardens of the Swedish Church.
- - Farm animals, face painting and a bouncing castle for the kids.·
- - SANTA LUCIA and her company, a truly Swedish tradition for December, will perform on Saturday at 2 pm.
- - Win a trip for 2 to Scandinavia.
Admission is free, donations welcome!
The Bazaar will be formally opened by the Swedish Ambassador Sven-Olof Pettersson on Saturday 5th December at 10.00am
Over 9,000 people attended last year and this event has become the highlight of the Christmas season for many locals. It’s a place to pick up a truly unique gift and find beautiful Christmas decorations, unlike anything you will find in Australia.
