Join Melbourne’s Scandinavian Community to celebrate Christmas - Scandinavian style!

The Swedish Church, 21 St Georges Road, Toorak, will hold its traditional and very popular Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar during the first weekend in December.

* Wander stalls full of gorgeous items imported direct from Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

* See what Scandinavia is famous for - design, textiles, handicrafts, glassware and more!

* Discover unique gifts and stunning imported Christmas decorations.

* Savour a delicious variety of Scandinavian foods, from Norwegian pancakes to Danish hotdogs and Swedish cakes and open-faced sandwiches.

* Live music -traditional entertainment by singers and musicians from Scandinavia.

* Enjoy the festive atmosphere with friends and family in the beautiful gardens of the Swedish Church.

* Farm animals, face painting and a bouncing castle for the kids.

* SANTA LUCIA and her company, a truly Swedish tradition for December, will perform on Saturday at 2pm.

* Win a trip for 2 to Scandinavia.

 

Admission is free. Donations welcome!

 

Over 10,000 people attended last year and this event has become the highlight of the Christmas season for many locals. It’s a place to pick up a truly unique gift and find beautiful Christmas decorations, unlike anything you will find in Australia.

 

You haven't been to a bazaar until you've been to the Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar!

 

Arbetsdagar inför basaren

För att få i ordning alla bodar, stånd, hyllor och allt annat som behövs under basaren ordnar vi ett antal arbetsdagar. Arbetsdagarna är sista helgen i november (26 - 27 nov) samt fredagen (2:a dec) dagen före basaren. Kom och var med!

Alla arbetsdagar börjar kl 9.00 och under dagarna bjuds det på enklare lunch och kaffe

Working Bees: On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November as well as Friday 2nd December are pre Bazaar working bees. They all start at 9am except Sunday, and lunch as well ass cofee supplied. Please contact the church if you would like to jion for the working bees.
